Athirapally Falls
A paradise for flora and fauna, Athirapally Falls is located 60 kilometres from Thrissur, it is a popular picnic location, and the stunning magnificence of the waterfall provides visitors with breathtaking views.

Karuvannur River
Enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise on the serene Karuvannur Puzha to enjoy views of the verdant landscape, local vegetation and village life.

Vadakummnathan temple
This enormous 1000-year-old temple and historical monument is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is famed for the Nataraja Mural beside the main gate, which contains a collection of exquisite mural paintings, some of which are more than 400 years old.

Visit the festival
Time your visit to coincide with Thrissur Pooram, the annual temple festival held on ‘Pooram day’—the day when the moon rises. It is the largest and most famous of all poorams in India.
