The uphill walk to Dhampus rewards hikers with an instant panorama of snow-capped peaks, best seen at sunrise when the light turns the mountains gold. The surrounding landscape is equally impressive, with terraced fields, stone cottages, and the ever-present scent of pine in the air.

When to Visit
Visit from October to March for clear mountain views, or in spring (April–May) when rhododendrons bloom in the surrounding hills.
