Nagaur Fort
Initially built in the 2nd century and rebuilt in the early 12th century, Nagaur Fort has witnessed several battles. One of the first Mughal strongholds in North India, it is a fantastic example of Rajput-Mughal architecture and serves as the stage for the annual Sufi music festival.

Visually stunning, this traditional light and sound show depicts the story of Bhakt Shiromani Meera bai, a great poet and devotee of Shri Krishna.

Ahhichatragarh Fort translates as “fort of the hooded cobra” and was lovingly restored to its former glory in the 1980s. You can see period furniture, objects and an amazing selection of wall paintings.
