Today early morning we visit the Taj Mahal by sunrise. Prepare to be dazzled by the Taj Mahal – it’s every bit as awe-inspiring as you can imagine! Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a tribute to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it took 22 years and 20,000 workers to construct. The gleaming white marble was sourced 200 miles away and hauled to the site by a convoy of 1000 elephants. While it looks flawless from every angle, it’s the intricate marble inlays up close that truly take your breath away. You’ll have plenty of time to admire this beautiful architectural masterpiece.
The majestic Agra Fort it served as the nerve centre for the Mughal Empire across generations. Originally constructed by Akbar, the fort’s imposing walls, gates, and initial buildings were situated along the eastern banks of the Yamuna River. Shah Jahan embellished it with grand quarters and a mosque, while Aurangzeb fortified its outer ramparts. Don’t miss the chance to wander through the Hall of Public Audience and Royal Pavilions.

The total area of the national park stands at 1,334 km² and only the core area of 392 km² is not open to the public. Ranthambore National Park is set between the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges.
