With history dating back to 1775 Malabar House became Fort Cochin’s first boutique hotel in 1996. All 17 rooms are centrally air-conditioned with and decorated superbly with stunning colour schemes plus antique & contemporary objects d’art. Every room has a large bathrooms with bathtub and shower facilities, hanging space, televisions, direct dial telephones, WIFI, safe deposit lockers, coffee makers and minibar. Each room also has either a dedicated veranda, terrace or private garden sit out area, while the suites have private terraces.
The best of local products and where possible organic products are used. Each evening the dining experiences are accompanied by performances of classical Carnatic, Hindustani music or a classical dance on the patio’s stage subject to weather conditions.
